Title: Manager, wildlife
Location: Wuhan office
Reports to: Practice Head, wildlife
l To develop project strategy in line withWWF Program strategy and goals.
l To develop fund raising proposal relatedconservation projects.
s the projectcommunication s within WWF international network ,WWF China, WWFUS,WWFUK, WWF Southeast Asian, etc, or out of WWF.
l Manage and liais account to strengthenrelations with Government, partners, other NGOs, Donors and associatecommittees.
l Assists and coordinates with relevantoffices of WWF China to develop the work plan to ensure the delivery ofcommitted conservation results and impact.
l To make budget plan of the project and tomonitor and evaluate its spending
l Overall management and takingresponsibility for conservation activities, projects and staff within thedivision.
l To Liaises the internal collaborationacross the projects/practices to ensure the achievement of the projectconservation strategic goals and implementation of action plans.
l To manage the team’s performance by usingWWF China’s performance evaluation tool (AIM). Coach focus on talentdevelopment and competency development of staffs.
l Master degree inrelated area is preferred.
l At least 8 years experiences in related area, 2-3years in managerial role is preferred.
l Good relationshipwith government agencies, research institutes and relevant partners and workingability.
l Goodcommunication skills, communicate effectively and efficiently.
l Proactive,innovative and output-oriented personality with good communication skills.
l Good command of English. Excellent Englishand Chinese in writing, speaking and reading.
l Willingness to update professionalknowledge and skills.
l Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic skillsand good team worker.
l Strong project management skills, resultsorientation.
l Experience of working in an internationalcontext and the ability to respect and work well with people from differentcultures and backgrounds.

WWF China is under the implementation of Yangtzefinless porpoise conservation as the core part of WWF China wildlife practicework along the central and lower Yangtze mainstream since 2002.
Working together with both globaland local partners, WWF China is exploring the freshwater dolphinconservation by in-situ demonstration pilot, policy advocacy as well as publicengagement, focus on securing survival of wild Yangtze finless porpoise in the naturalhabitat.
Now WWFChina is looking fora highly skilled professional to manage the implementation & development ofYangtze finless porpoise conservation work across the central & lowerYangtze, helping to deliver the commitment of freshwater dolphinconservation together with the whole WWF network.
