Function:
  • Manage finance and logistics of WWFCPO Wuhan Program Office in consultation with/and supervision of the office head, Finance Manager and HR Director.
  • Responsible for program budgeting, finance/expense reporting, third party contract management, day-to-day office managing, purchasing and maintaining office supplies and equipment under the supervision and guidance of Head of Wuhan Office.
  • Main Responsibilities:

    Financial Management:

  • Prepare daily financial transactions.
  • Call funds from Beijing office.
  • Monitor office actual operation cost against annual budget
  • Assists Wuhan Office and Beijing office to prepare the Programme annual budget in collaboration with programme staffs.
  • Assist Beijing finance department for carrying out internal audit to contracted projects.
  • Provide financial training to third parties when necessary.
  • Help PFO to prepare and give inputs on quarterly financial analysis according to annual budget and provide suggestions as needed.
  • Contract Management:
  • Donor contract management.
  • Third party contract management of Wuhan Office.
  • Assist in collect and review third parties¡¯ financial report. Review third parties expenditure to ensure that the spending profile is in line with approved contractual budgets.
  • Assist PFO (Project Finance Officer) to summarize and identify problems on quarterly basis by reviewing financial reports from third parties, and provide solutions as necessary.
  • Programme and Office Management:
  • Be responsible for general administration of Wuhan Office.
  • Assist programme communication activities associating to Wuhan Office.
  • Assist other team members of Wuhan Office with logistic arrangements whenever activities and campaigns carried out by Wuhan office and become priorities for the WWF Yangtze Programme.
  • Assist programme staffs of Wuhan Office for better implementation of conservation activities if necessary
  • Undertake other tasks allocated by Head of Wuhan Office.
  • Provide translation support to Wuhan office.
  • Perform other tasks allocated by head of WWF Wuhan Program office;
  • Qualifications Required
  • At least 3 years working experience in related areas.
  • At least Bachelor Degree;
  • A high degree of personal integrity and commitment to conservation;
  • Good and experienced coordination, communication and presentation skills;
  • Fluent speaking and writing in English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Ability for teamwork and partnership development.
