Main Function:
Working closely with Project Manager to effectively plan, implement, manage and monitor relevant watershed project, ensuring delivery of conservation results and impacts.
Work with local partners on climate change issues under guidance of WWF CPO
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Assist Project Manager to effectively coordinate the development of the annual workplan and budget ensuring all relevant staff participate in planning and reviews of the watershed management project
Assist Project Manager to be responsible for the effective implementation of the watershed management project annual workplans.
Work with Project Manager to support the head of WWF Chengdu Office on the reporting and raising issues to WWF CPO SMT
Work with Project Manager to prepare meeting materials and attend the WWF related meetings and workshops as needed/required
Support Project Manager to ensures effective Implementation of the watershed management communication plans including key stakeholder engagement
Support Project Manager to lead and co-ordinate timely production of technical reports of appropriate format, quality, and content, and within the specified time frame, to meet donor requirements
Together with Project Manager, to provide effective technical supports and effectively communication among Chengdu field team.
Work closely with Project Manager to maintain partnership relationship by building up the good account management.
Assistant to the development of freshwater fundraising strategy and proposals.
Qualification:
At least 5 year working experience;
Background on ecology or watershed/wetland management;
Good English in writing, speaking and reading;
Proactive, innovative and output-oriented personality with the ability to meet hard objectives;
Willing to travel to field frequently
Willing to work under pressure.
Willing to learn new knowledge
