The Minshan mountain range is not only populated by close to one million Han, Tibetan, Qiang, and Baima people, but also provides shelterfor the giant panda and other endangered wildlife including the golden monkey, takin, clouded leopard, and the worldĄŻs richest variety of pheasants.
